Our photo backdrop is textured and medium-gray, so please dress accordingly. Be sure your outfit is clean, ironed, and avoid busy patterns and bright colors that might take the attention away from your face. Your hair should be neat and clean, and consider wearing makeup if you feel comfortable doing so. The goal is to look professional and polished. The photo session typically takes about 5-10 minutes and will take place during the presentations. I intend to use Photoshop to make certain adjustments to your photo, such as eliminating blemishes and reducing wrinkles. However, if there is anything specific that you would prefer not to appear in your headshot, kindly inform me during the photo session.

An IAMS employee will pull you aside when we are ready for you. If you do not want to miss the current presentation at that time, please let us know, and we will come to get you at another time.

If you are recording a video, be prepared for what to say. Instead of reading a script, prepare a few bullet points to make it sound more natural. To make your video more engaging and informative, introduce yourself and your business, explain your unique value proposition, showcase your products or services with visuals, and include a clear call-to-action. Remember to keep your video short and to the point, with a length of one to two minutes.

I typically send digital copies of your photo(s) within 1-2 weeks after the event. Videos may take a bit longer and can be posted on our YouTube channel. You are free to use them in any way you prefer.
